Federal Minister Reiche in Doha for High-Level Industrial Engagements - Coordinated by the German Mittelstand GCC Office

Over the course of two high-level engagements in Doha, the German Mittelstand GCC Office had the privilege of coordinating key elements of the programme and supporting the delegation led by H.E. Katherina Reiche, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The visit commenced with the official signing ceremony between Aamal Company and Niedax Group, marking an important step in strengthening German–Qatari industrial cooperation. The German Mittelstand GCC Office coordinated the organisational framework of the engagement and supported the participation of the German delegation. The presence of senior state-level representatives, including H.E. Dr. Ahmad bin Mohammed Al-Sayed, underscored the significance attributed to this new industrial partnership.

Following this engagement, the delegation undertook a site visit to Rheinmetall Barzan Advanced Technologies (RBAT) at Qatar Science and Technology Park. As part of the strategic cooperation framework established earlier this year between RBAT and the German Mittelstand GCC Office, the visit provided an opportunity to reaffirm ongoing collaboration and to explore future areas of engagement. The meeting took place at a general level, consistent with the confidentiality of RBAT’s activities.
