Our vision and mission
BVMW stands for German medium-sized companies. The German Mittelstand GCC Office stands for proximity to new customers and new partners in a new market in the GCC region (Gulf Cooperation Council). Together we stand for the expansion of bilateral economic relations.
It is the declared goal to pave the way for this new perspective for German medium-sized businesses. We want to support German SMEs in their search, be it for expanding into these new markets, as a production location, as a starting point for global expansion or in their search for capital.
We know partners from the GCC as long-term investors in industry and banking. What is new is the increasing interest in German SMEs. As successful entrepreneurs themselves, they value German know-how for entering the Gulf market or making a global leap.
Both sides can benefit greatly from each other. We want to support that.

Within 50 years, BVMW has established itself as Germany's medium-sized business organization and has a network with 900,000 entrepreneurial voices and an experience of 2,000 events annually. The GCC Office accesses this competence.
In addition, an experienced, top-class network has now been integrated into local politics and business.
Thanks to our presence in both Berlin and Doha, interests in the German and Qatari markets can be pursued locally, well integrated and in a well-founded manner. The bicultural and multilingual structure of our office is the basis for this.

BVMW has succeeded in entering into a unique cooperation with Qatari business organizations, on the basis of which direct access to the respective target region can be offered to companies that previously did not exist. The first collaborations were successfully initiated.
